Privacy Policy

Typing Studio is built so that your typing data never leaves your device. This is a property of the architecture, not a promise about how we behave with a database — there is no database.

What we store

Your test results, settings, achievements and practice history are written to your browser's own storage: localStorage for preferences andIndexedDB for history. None of it is transmitted to a server, because the site has no server component. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes all of it permanently, and we cannot recover it.

What we do not collect

No accounts, no email addresses, no passwords, no keystroke logs, and no analytics profile tied to you. The site is delivered as static files, so there is no application layer that could record a request beyond the standard access logs kept by whichever CDN serves the files.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense, which is the one third party that receives any data about your visit. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

You can control or disable personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center. Ad-related data is handled under Google's privacy policy, not ours — we never receive your typing data through it, because it is never sent anywhere for the ad system to see.

Your data, your device

Because everything is local, exporting or deleting your data is entirely under your control. Browser settings for this site can clear it at any time, and using a different browser or device simply means starting fresh — there is no sync, by design.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or who receives it, the change will be described here rather than announced by email — we do not have your email address.
